About Me
Sarah Shaya
Hello! My name is Sarah, I recently moved to LA from Michigan, and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in December 2020 where I received my bachelor's in statistics. I’ve been working as a math and stats tutor since my senior year of high school (2016). I also spent two summers working as a teaching assistant at UMich for a lower-level math course for freshmen, and two years teaching Sunday school to children aged 3-5 at my local synagogue. I love math, and I love teaching! I am very passionate about what I do, and take great pride in being able to help others to succeed in their courses, as well as help them develop better ways of thinking about mathematics and statistics. I currently live in Venice with my partner and our five animals; two guinea pigs, two rabbits, and our golden retriever puppy!
