Los Angeles based Math and Stats Tutoring

Helping students of all ages learn math since 2016

Here at Sarah Loves Numbers, we believe that all students are capable of not only succeeding in mathematics but of enjoying math! I believe that students learn best when they enjoy what they are studying, and aim to foster a love for numbers in the students I work with.

Whether you are at a complete loss, or just want some additional help, we are here for you! We believe in making learning math fun and easy, and work to cater our teaching style to how our students learn best. We offer virtual and in-person tutoring for all your math-related needs.

My standard rates are $65/hour for virtual tutoring, $80/hour for in-person, and $90/hour for SAT/ACT test prep. Virtual sessions can be held with students worldwide

Areas of Practice

K-12 Mathematics

My bread and butter! I am capable of helping students in any grade-school math class, from elementary mathematics to AP Calculus and AP Statistics.

College-Level Math and Statistics

College math and statistics courses can be a different beast, especially as many non-math-related programs may require students to take math classes! Here at Sarah Loves Numbers, we believe in simplifying the concepts as much as possible, and looking at different methods for solving things out.

College courses I tutor include, but are not limited to: College Algebra, Calculus 1 and 2, Intro Statistics, Intro Probability, and Linear Algebra. If you are enrolled in a class you do not see listed, please message me to see if it’s something I tutor.

ACT/SAT Test Prep

Whether you are looking to boost your math score or improve your general score, I am here to help! I scored a 34 on the ACT with a perfect math score, and a 1540 on the SAT with a perfect math score; standardized tests can be very overwhelming, and they pull questions from all different math levels. It is my personal guarantee that you will improve upon your score!

“There should be no such thing as boring mathematics”
